About me

I'm a busy working mom, trying to fit everything in, including husband, kids, work, home, church and most importantly, time with my Heavenly Father!  In fact, I can't remember what I did with my time before I had three kids!  I must have been so bored...

Currently I look after my kids the majority of the week and fit in working over three days.  I write part-time and am studying a business degree.  I co-lead a kids' ministry at my church for under-6s with my husband and a small community group along with another couple.  I lead a creative arts ministry which I am planning to relaunch in the new year (it's been waiting in the wings a bit the past few months as I have settled into my other church roles).

I live with my husband, Matt, and my three under-sixes (was three under-fours at one point!), my mother-in-law, a siamese, two bantams, 5 fish and Matt's mum's westie.

Our home is often chaotic and very loud.  I sometimes miss the calm, organised place we lived in before we had kids, but not often.

We're on a journey right now.  We are learning how to get ourselves organised amidst the busyness.  How to make sure we don't just do things for the sake of doing and spend time being.  Being with each other, being in the moment, being a family, being who God called us to be, being with Him.  It's about being, not about doing.  And that for me, is a very hard place to be!  But I am learning.
